A shocking amount don't understand who their "Avatar" is. They think they know who their "ideal client" is, but the reality is most of them have a bare minimum understanding. And to no fault of their own ... they know their business and their trade; not marketing. 

This course was developed after being repeatedly asked to help solve the same marketing and networking challenges by members of my networking community  ...

I put together this comprehensive 8-Week course that answers all the above questions and more.

The psychological and marketing aspects of what "networking to grow your business" actually looks like. 

The proper term for this is "Relationship Marketing."


But now we're dealing with another challenge ... due to COVID, most of us haven't been to an in-person event since Spring. 

My prediction is that 2021 will see very similar trends, and it's my intention to give my community the best tools possible to shine at what I'm dubbing: Digital Networking. 

This course is designed for those that network in order to generate leads.

It's not as simple as showing up on a zoom call and checking off the "networked for the week" box. 

Real networking requires time, patience and a deep understanding of people. 

After all, when it comes to networking, you're dealing with people -- not businesses -- it always comes down to people. So if you don't like people, this whole networking thing might not be your best option :)

I launched NetworkingPhoenix in January of 2008, during the economic crisis, and quickly grew my own network to over 40,000 local members. 

This wasn't an accident. 

It was a lot of hard work and understanding my clients better than they understood themselves.

The format for this 8-week networking certification program is a weekly online (zoom) meeting on Wednesdays from 12pm - 1:30pm.

Each week is strategically packed with content to get you meeting and connecting with professionals right away ...

The first and the last call is two hours long, the other calls are 1.5 hours.

8-weeks at a glance ...

Week 1: Meet everyone in the group. These people will be your "networking buddies" along the way. We will also experientially learn the "template" conversation to have with anyone in order to authentically connect.

​Week 2: Arguably the most important lesson of this session ... defining your Customer Avatar. 

​If you don't have your customer clearly defined, you won't know which events to attend, how to speak to your potential clients (face-to-face and via email), how to set up your LinkedIn page, etc etc. Creating your customer Avatar is not as easy as you'd think. 
Participants will have the opportunity to be in a hot seat.  

"The avatar focuses on one person and outlines everything about them. It goes into much greater depth than a regular marketing persona, providing marketers with many more targeting tools.”

Week 3: How to stand out on zoom calls and be memorable. 

After visiting countless other organizations' virtual networking calls, hosting my own since March and observing many of you in the break out rooms ... I had a total "Aha!" moment. 

I compiled the best of the best tips on how to stand out and be remembered and will share with you on this call.

Week 4: How to create engaging social media posts on any platform. 

The "secret" to this is writing your post in an "Episodic" storytelling technique.  

You've heard me talk about the importance of sharing your story over and over ... but how do you do it in a way to establish an immediate emotional connection with your audience?

Your story posts will resonate with the people you need to serve the most. By the time this 8-Week is over, you will have your core story completed along with an understanding of how to create future social media posts.

Week 5: How to write and structure individual prospecting emails and LinkedIn messages that get a response.

Most of us are not copywriters ... but in order to write the kind of emails to actually move your prospects to take action, you need to step into the copywriter role. 

Various templates and sample emails will be shared along with subject lines and sequence of when follow up emails should be sent.

Week 6: Continuation of week 5's topic, hands-on.

Participants will be asked to volunteer for hot-seats and submit emails geared at potential clients/referral partners so we can optimize the emails as a group. 

This exercise is a favorite amongst the participants because we go through the entire process as a group, hands-on.

Week 7: Gone, are the days of your LinkedIn being a "resume to the world."

Your LinkedIn profile is your brand's mini-landing page. We will go over the formula in order to re-create your Linkedin profile and cover what's trending on LinkedIn RIGHT NOW.

LinkedIn participating has gone up over 55% since COVID, so you no longer have the option to NOT have an optimized profile.

Week 8: How to properly communicate with your connections via mass email platforms (ie - Mailchimp) in order to establish/deepen/nurture relationships and generate new business.

his is one of the most important parts of the process as this is where you generate sales.

All weekly meetings will be held online every Wednesday, 12pm - 1:30pm via the zoom platform (free). The first and last meeting is 2 hours long 12pm - 2pm.
